“Susan, is it just me, or is Ted looking a little different tonight?” Gloria whispered in her friend’s ear as they sipped champagne together next to the bar.

“You know, now that you mention it there is something a little more earthy about him. But not in a gross unkempt way, but like there is something a little more primal about him,” Susan looked Ted up and down, “It’s kind of hot.”

“You know what’s hot,” Gloria leaned in closer to her friend and lowered her voice, “did you see the say he slurped down those salmon horderves earlier? I bet he could do more with that tongue than eat a fish whole…”

Susan shifted her weight, obviously uncomfortable in her tall heels “Maybe, but he’s a little hairy for me. It’s like, where does that beard end and his chest hair begin, you know?”

“Oh, that’s not a problem for me,” Gloria tugged anxiously at her dress, “I’m going to go talk to him.”

“You better now than later. I hear once Ted gets a belly full, he’s out like a light and he had an awful lot of horderves.”

“Oh… I’m nervous,” Gloria ran her hands through her hair repeatedly

Susan gave her friend a gentle shove in Ted’s direction, “Just go! It’s not like he’s going to maul you or anything!”
